LRG clothing is a street/skate wear fashion brand with a slogan as simple as - underground inventive, over ground effective. LRG wants to put the spotlight on the ones that are trying to pay their rent with their passions such as music, skateboarding, graffiti, art, street wear and so on. You can think of LRG Clothing as a support group for the independent and underground culture.

The concept behind LRG is more than just clothing it is a lifestyle a way of living and LRG Clothing is a pioneering essence for the above average person.

The Lifted Research Group better known as LRG Clothing was Co-founded in 1999 in Santa Ana, California, by two friends Jonas Bevacqua and Robert Wright; Jonas was given a small amount of funding from his father’s friend, they used this to start a production run, and were given space at ASR trade show to sell their new brand. They started off with just four styles of t shirts, four styles of hoodies, and 300 pairs of jeans and had sold out the collection by the afternoon on the very first day of the trade show. After struggling for a couple years the company finally found stability and created a creative lifestyle apparel company called LRG.

LRG clothing was one of the first urban streetwear brands to bridge the gap between different fashion lifestyles such as skating, surfing and hip-hop and merge them into one, they didn’t do this on purpose but it was a product of what Robert and Jonas where into just like many other people that wear LRG clothing. Once LRG’s following grew it started hiring out designers form different background given LRG clothing its unique appeal and it also started to push forward up and coming talent, supporting those who are passionate about their goals and help them with their growth.

LRG clothing’s track jackets, jeans, t shirts, polo shirts, hats, sweaters have really set standards, in the urban street wear and hip hop cultures as some of its most noticeable pieces such as the LRG Dead Serious Hoody (worn by Kanye West at the Stella McCartney fashion show) has sold for over £500 on places like Ebay. Once kanye west wore the hoodie to France fashion week it took 2007 by storm creating a fashion demand for LRG outside of the street wear world, it Claimed to be the most hyped hoody in history.

Supreme Being

Supreme Being began in Cambridge England in 1999 and originally started off as a T-Shirt brand and grew in to a full men’s & women’s street wear collection, which offers a full men’s and women’s clothing ranges, including Supreme Beings signature track tops and unique skirts and jackets down to caps, belts, beanies, and sweatbands, alongside the fashion range Supreme Being also hold canvases art shows, with a little bit of their own music.

Supreme Being is a British urban street wear brand, based around the lives of people who love art, music, family and friends, Supreme Being is a group of artists with different backgrounds ranging from graphic design, painting, sketching, producing music, and thinkers. Supreme Being started off with their home rage which included 60designs which are still printed up till today in any t shirt colour of customer choice. Supreme Being has production control over their tee shirts this allows them to take care while printing and also helps them keep quality control and allows them to experiment with different colours.

Supreme Being are always expanding rapidly as one of the top British street wear brands as 2006 extended  into men’s trainers and accessories line the foot wear was 'Handmade' by Supreme being designers DQ &Yoc, a unique and creative range handmade to order in Barcelona, using clean new fabric ideas and shapes crossed with authentic grass-roots tools and techniques. The supreme being foot wear range was a high end ltd edition range which extended into a more affordable collection as the years went on which took its sway from friends, family and neighbours, drawing reference from all angles of their lives, supreme being hopes to inspire people as they have been inspired by them.
